**Exciting Travel Opportunity for ER Registered Nurses!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Spruce Pine, NC - **Unit:** Emergency Department (ED) - **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - **Number of Beds:** 12 - **Patient Ratios:** 4-6 - **Staffing:** RN and ED Tech available 24/7 - **Documentation System:** Cerner - **Equipment:** Carefusion Alaris IV Pumps, GE bedside monitors **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care in a fast-paced setting - Manage emergency patient populations with efficiency and skill - Perform procedures such as bedside cardioversion, procedural sedation, splinting, and assisting with intubation **Candidate Profile:** - **Experience Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department (ED) - Advanced skills in ACLS, PALS, trauma, and cardiac - Excellent assessment skills - **Certifications Needed:** - ACLS, NIH, BLS, PALS or ENPC - TNCC preferred **Additional Information:** - **Scheduling Requirements:** - 3-12 hour shifts with 6-8 weekend shifts per schedule - **Unit Accomplishments:** - Recently received Pathway Designation from ANCC - **Community Focus:** - Serves as a community ED with MD and mid-level support available 24/7 - Handles approximately 14,000 visits annually, with an average acuity of 3 **Dress Code:** - Navy scrubs with white tops **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
