Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Dept position in Knoxville, TN, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and a TN or compact RN license.

• Located in a hospital emergency services department in Knoxville, TN
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 4:1 (variable)
• Total patient care model
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS required prior to start date
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP required within 90 days of start
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration and discussed at the time of interview
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
