Alameda Floor: Emergency Dept.Building:General InformationTell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 12Number of Staff 6-8Type of staff:Day Shift 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11a-11p), 1 Unit secretary (9a-5p M-F) Night Shift 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech(11a-11p), 1 Unit secretary (5p-1a M-F)Patient Ratios 4:1Type of equipment - EMR -Typical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, BLS, CPI, TNCCPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Strong in Neuro and CardiacHigh energy, fast pacedList typical procedures performed on unit(s): STEMI, Stroke/TPA, RSI Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.Scrub Color preferred royal blue, but not required No competitors emblems Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc. 12 min door to needle TPAFastest bed assigned to patient in bed time in Gulf Coast DivisionAny additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. *Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent.
