Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department unit with high behavioral health acuity
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • Cerner EMR knowledge required

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • CPI/MOAB High-Risk de-escalation training required, with online portion completed prior to start and on-site portion completed at orientation
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must provide current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Seal blue scrubs required
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this position
