Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel contract in Kansas, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients
  • Night shift: 19:00–07:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
  • Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • TNCC required (renewed every 4 years)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
  • CPI/MOAB High-Risk training required — online portion must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Driver's license, two professional references, and copies of certifications required for consideration
  • Nursys license verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

  • Ceil blue scrubs required
