Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring IN or compact RN licensure and 1-2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Fast-paced rural emergency department with 23 beds
• Patient ratio of approximately 4 or 5:1
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with no on-call requirements
• Floating required every third weekend, possibly to Starke ED
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• De-escalation training required
• 1-2 years of recent ER experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• Holiday blackout dates may apply depending on facility need
