Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for an evening shift assignment requiring 2 years of acute care experience and a compact or MD RN license.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Evening shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• Requires working every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or Maryland) required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training required, 8-hour course updated every 2 years
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to patients across a variety of acute conditions
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate depending on facility radius requirements
• Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• Only one Ascension position system-wide may be submitted for per candidate
