Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, stroke, cardiac, GI, psychiatric, and pediatric cases
• Manage patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 in fast track
• Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Participate in 4 weekend shifts over a 4-week period as part of the standard schedule
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a 22-bed Emergency Department with no float or call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma nursing experience
• Pediatric emergency care experience
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a resilient and adaptable work style
