Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 1 year of ED experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
  • Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Rotating weekend requirement
  • 6-week contract

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, or TNS
  • Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
  • DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care in the ED, evaluating patient outcomes, and collaborating with physicians and ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient flow
  • Communicates changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic results to ED physicians
  • Must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
  • Addresses psychosocial, physical, and communication needs of patients and families
