**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as an ED RN!** **Job Description** - Embrace the excitement of working in a fast-paced, 36-bed Emergency Department that serves approximately 59,000 patients each year! - Provide high-quality, compassionate, and timely care to patients of all ages facing emergent and urgent health conditions. - Utilize your critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills to perform comprehensive and focused assessments. - Triage patients with evidence-based protocols, determining acuity levels to initiate appropriate care swiftly. - Rapidly assess, intervene, and stabilize patients in medical, surgical, traumatic, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies. - Administer medications, treatments, and procedures adhering to hospital policy and provider orders. - Operate advanced medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and point-of-care devices. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and EMS personnel. - Coordinate patient care efficiently, involving diagnostic testing, re-evaluation, disposition planning, and patient education. - Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record. - Play a key role in rapid response, trauma activations, code blue, stroke, and STEMI protocols. - Maintain adherence to infection control and safety guidelines while fostering a culture of patient-centered care and service excellence. **Qualifications** *Required:* - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license). - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. *Preferred/Required within timeframe after hire:* - TNCC and ENPC certifications. - Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings. **Skills & Abilities** - Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills. - Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Competency in trauma care, cardiac care, and stabilizing critically ill patients. - Capacity to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations. **Working Conditions** - High-acuity Emergency Department setting with frequent exposure to trauma and critical illness. - Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and performing tasks throughout your shift. - Engage in collaborative efforts with a diverse healthcare team and EMS partners serving the Lawton community. **Shift Information** - Nights (7p-7a) **Minimum Years of Experience** - 2 years **Certifications/Requirements** - ACLS - BLS/BCLS - PALS **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
