Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association
• Valid NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
• Epic charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using current emergency nursing standards and the nursing process
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on clinical and psychosocial needs
• Perform ongoing assessments, document nursing histories, and monitor patient flow in the Emergency Department
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care
• Maintain readiness of supplies and equipment for emergency patient care
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to ensure patient safety
• Manage a wide range of emergency complications and clinical situations
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Document patient responses to interventions and support high-quality care outcomes
