Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.
Oncology Patient Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)
This position is within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) focusing on adult oncology and trauma patients.
Travelers may float to other Med/Surg and PCU units; assignments will maintain the same level of care.
Two days of unit orientation provided.
Travelers should be comfortable managing the following common drips and medications:
Travelers will commonly encounter high-flow oxygen equipment.
Hourly rounding and bedside shift report are key components of the patient experience focus.
We seek nurses who demonstrate genuine care for patients, bring a positive attitude to work, and embrace teamwork. Our diverse patient population is treated with utmost respect. We care for oncology patients from diagnosis through remission, while also providing compassionate end-of-life care.
The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.
The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.
A valid driver's license is necessary for submission, and it will be utilized to confirm the candidate's location in relation to the facility.
