Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, and PALS or ENPC
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a wide range of emergency and urgent care presentations
• Professional, positive, compassionate, and team-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with chest pain, CHF, COPD, psychiatric concerns, and other urgent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, efficient patient flow
• Deliver emergency nursing care for patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient use of the electronic health record
• Respond to changing patient needs with calm, confidence, and clinical precision
