Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
• Specialty: Emergency Department Nursing
• Healthcare Setting: 38-bed, Level III Trauma Emergency Department

• End Date: January 18, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours weekly
• Additional Details: 36-hour guarantee; 48-hour guarantee may be considered
• Clinical Services: Stroke receiving and STEMI receiving

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current Registered Nurse license in Arizona
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to float to other appropriate clinical areas as needed
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• NIH certification recommended but not required
• Professional attire requires black scrubs

Emergency Department Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Use the nursing process in accordance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care
• Assess patient needs, establish priorities, and respond effectively to changing clinical conditions
• Delegate care appropriately based on the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision to personnel involved in patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality outcomes for emergency patients
