Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience at a Level-3 or higher facility, with Epic proficiency and a full suite of trauma certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department with 24 beds
• Patient population includes psychiatric, trauma, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke cases
• Epic EMR experience is required
• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Floating is rare but may occur to a freestanding ED or other departments within the facility as helping hands
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB certifications required
• Must pass a Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a Level-3 or higher Emergency Department
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least one supervisor-level reference (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or above) required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start
