Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KY or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 24-hour Emergency Department providing urgent care for severe injuries and illness
• Night shift schedule of 3x12s, 7p-7a
• 36 hours per week across 3 days

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required
• Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures

Additional Information

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments, treatments, and care coordination for ED patients across all age groups
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including patient and family education
• Collaborate with an inter-professional care team and delegate tasks appropriately
