**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients? As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will: - Assess and reassess patients, crafting personalized care plans that lead to recovery. - Deliver exceptional patient care grounded in established standards and protocols. - Honor each patient’s individuality, promoting dignity and positive self-regard. - Provide patient and family education tailored to their unique needs and readiness. - Collaborate effectively for seamless patient discharge planning, utilizing necessary resources. - Your leadership skills will shine as you: - Delegate and supervise nursing interventions with confidence. - Prioritize patient care, seeking assistance when needed and ensuring emergency interventions are executed. - Document thorough and timely reports, guaranteeing continuity of care. - Promote learning and development by: - Acting as a preceptor and inspiring colleagues. - Attending professional development programs to enhance your skills. - Play a crucial role in patient safety: - Identify risks and advocate for safety measures to reduce errors. - Address ethical issues with care plans that reflect our commitment to patient welfare. - Master medication administration and patient assessments: - Safely administer medications and IV therapy according to established guidelines. - Conduct assessments including pain level evaluations and comprehensive initial evaluations. - Respond effectively in critical situations: - Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and administer necessary therapies. - Initiate and maintain care for intubated patients, including managing suctioning and monitoring. - Stay informed and compliant: - Complete mandated reports related to abuse and injuries promptly and accurately. - Implement and uphold disaster policies and procedures for optimal patient care. **Functional Demands:** - Meet the physical demands of the role by: - Lifting 20 to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently moving lighter objects. - Engaging in activities like reaching, handling, and distinguishing colors. **Organizational Expectations:** - Exhibit essential behavioral attributes: - Achievement motivation, flexibility, initiative, and strong customer service orientation. - Interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork, analytical thinking, and information-seeking skills. **Job Requirements:** - Minimum Education: AS in Nursing required; BS in Nursing preferred. - Minimum Work Experience: 3-5 years of ED experience preferred. - Licenses and Certifications: - Current MA RN license. - ACLS upon hire OR must obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days. - AHA PALS within six months of hire. - TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred. **Shift Information:** - Work schedule: 7p to 7a every other weekend and holiday. - Holiday coverage required. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
