Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of recent ED or critical care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department-Trauma unit setting
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 18:45-07:15
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Block scheduling requests will be accommodated when possible but cannot be guaranteed
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• 2 years of recent ED experience in a larger ED department or critical care experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

• Provide emergency and trauma care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
