Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3+ years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department-Trauma 4 unit
• 13-week assignment with an evening shift schedule (15:00-03:30)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May need to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (must be AHA)
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• 3+ years of travel ED experience or 5+ years of large ED experience without travel background
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care in a high-acuity trauma department setting
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet the large ED experience requirement
