Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
At least 1 year of prior critical care nursing experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced ER environment
Willingness to assist in charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to emergency department patients
Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay in the ED
Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood products as needed
Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
Document nursing interventions, observations, and patient responses accurately
Support care delivery in a full-spectrum emergency center and chest pain center
Step into charge nurse and preceptor responsibilities when assigned
