Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Emergency Department at a hospital with approximately 33,000 visits per year
• Main ER has 21 beds plus a 6-bed Minor Care (Fast Track) area
• Includes a Minor Emergency Care Unit (MECU), triage, critical care, and trauma care
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week, may be asked to work up to 48 hours per week as needed
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Must have prior travel ER experience
• Must have successfully completed at least one travel assignment
• MA license must be in hand if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across main ER, Fast Track, MECU, and trauma care areas
• No local candidates accepted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
• Must be cleared the Wednesday prior to start
• Required vaccines include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
