Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department requiring at least 1-2 years of ER experience and the ability to float between Med Surg and ER.

Details

• Critical access hospital setting located 2.5 hours from the nearest large hospital
• Floats between Med Surg and ER as needed
• Patient population includes trauma cases from a nearby major highway as well as elderly and general medical patients
• 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
• Uses CPSI EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required, 2 years preferred
• Comfortable floating between Med Surg and ER units

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care for a wide variety of illnesses and injuries, including trauma and elderly patient care
• Manager interview and offer required before placement
• Works in a critical access hospital environment supporting a broad range of acute and emergent conditions
