**Join Our Thriving Emergency Room Team!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to elevate your nursing career? Join our dynamic Emergency Room team where you will: - Practice independently while showcasing your clinical expertise and strong decision-making skills. - Provide both routine and complex care, tailored to meet the long-range goals of your patients. - Navigate and manage the ever-changing landscape of clinical nursing with confidence and competence. - Assign and delegate tasks effectively to ensure optimal patient care. - As a vital member of our team, you will: - Meet the expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation) in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice. - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments per protocol, while diligently monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness. - Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and all care provided. - Assess learning needs and deliver essential education to patients, families, and caregivers. **Qualifications:** - **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred). - **Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty (preferred). - **Licenses/Certifications:** - Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA only). - RN License in the state of TX or compact. - **Position Requirements:** - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Have a designated preceptor for initial onboarding and competency validation. - Participate in a residency program if newly licensed and complete all annual competency verification requirements. **Work Schedule:** - Night Shift: 6 PM - 6 AM (12 HR Shift) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
