As an ED RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, identifying and intervening in life-threatening situations, and functioning well under pressure. You will need to possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality patient care and assess patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs.
• Recognize safety issues and implement safe patient handling practices.
• Function effectively in stressful situations and utilize creative problem-solving skills.
• Assume charge nurse duties as required.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• MEDITECH experience required.
• Travel experience required.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Critical care and charge experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and be defibrillation certified within six months of employment.
• IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification required during orientation.
