Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 4-5 years of experience and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• 23-bed Emergency Department setting
• Patient ratios of 4 to 6
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend may be required
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB (CPI/MOAB required prior to start)
• 4-5 years of ED nursing experience required
• Charge experience a plus
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Standard ED education modules required
• No scrub color requirements
• Local candidates are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the contract length
• First-time travelers may be considered
