Submission Requirements

• Current resume with 2+ years of Emergency Department experience

• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required

• Travel nursing experience is required

• Travel experience must be clearly documented on the resume

• Skills checklist matching the ED specialty

• Driver’s license with an address matching candidate demographics

• Current AHA certifications required:

  • ACLS

  • BLS

  • PALS

  • NIHSS

  • TNCC — must be in hand at time of submission

• Nursys license verification report required

• Active New York RN license required

• All RN licenses must be included in the Nursys verification

• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be provided at the time of submission

• EPIC EMR experience required

Patient Population

The ED cares for patients across the full age spectrum, including:

• Newborns

• Pediatrics

• Adults

• Geriatric patients

Common Diagnoses / Clinical Experience

Candidates should be comfortable caring for patients with conditions including:

• Stroke

• Sepsis

• Trauma

• Myocardial Infarction (MI)

• Cardiac Arrest

• Respiratory Failure

Specialty Equipment

• Rapid Infusor

• Arctic Sun

Additional Requirement

ED nurses are expected to provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) cases.
