· Number of Beds – 20 headwall, 4 halls

· Number of Staff – 50

· Shift for the Traveler – Varies (7a, 9a, 11a, 12n, 13p, 15p, 7p)

· Type of staff: Charge RN, Flow Coordinator, RN, ED Tech, US

o Day Shift – ( 1 charge, 4 RN, 1 tech, and 1 us)

o Mid Shift- Varies- (9a RN, 11a RN, 11a Tech, 11a Flow Coordinator, 12n RN, 13p RN, 15p RN)

o Night Shift – ( 1 charge, 4 RN, 1 tech, and 1 us)

· Patient Ratios – 4:1 (unless low acuity Client 4 & 5's then 6:1)

· Type of equipment – Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, I stat, EPOC, Client monitors

· EMR - EPIC

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Prior ED Experience

· Stroke and STEMI experience preferred

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Trauma

· Pediatrics

List typical procedures performed on unit: (aside from typical ED RN duties)

· Splinting

· Breathing Treatments

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC
