Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a Level 1 trauma center requiring active MA licensure and prior Level 1 trauma experience.

Details

• Work in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art 44-bed Emergency Department spanning over 45,000 square feet
• Department includes an imaging suite, pharmacy, fast-track area, behavioral health suite, private treatment rooms, and family consultation spaces
• Care for patients experiencing accidents or medical emergencies requiring immediate attention
• Utilizes Epic for patient assessment, care documentation, and medication administration
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Required to work every other weekend and two holiday shifts
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care within a designated Level 1 trauma center
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities for at least 6 months prior to consideration, applicable to travel, per diem, or permanent employment history
• Excessive time off requests, especially around holidays, will not be considered
