Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department requiring CA RN licensure, Epic experience, and ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required (American Heart Association)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum three years of recent experience in Emergency Department specialty, within the last three months
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
• Develop and implement care plans, evaluate patient progress, and participate in discharge planning
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and humane care
• Provide patient and family education and delegate duties appropriately among care team members
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel candidates
