Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI/TEAM/TEAM-A
• Minimum three years of recent ER experience required, within the last three months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing care
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Traveler may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
