Day Shift: 7A: Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, 1 Paramedic or LVN; 9A: 1 RN; 10A: 1 Paramedic or LVN; 11A: 2 RNs; 12P: 1 Paramedic or LVN; 1P: 1 RN; 3P: 1 RN
Night Shift: 7P: Charge Nurse, 8 RNs, 1 Paramedic or LVN
Patient Ratios: 1:4
Type of Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, portable EKG machine
EMR: Meditech
Job Responsibilities
Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Perform clinical procedures, including NIH assessments, IV and blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring.
Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical records system.
Qualifications
Required Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
Preferred Skills:
TNCC Certification
ENPC Certification
Work Schedule
Every other weekend is typically required.
Dress Code
Royal blue scrubs are required attire.
