Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Oncology Pod Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, Epic proficiency, and prior travel experience.

Details

  • Oncology Pod Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment
  • 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30), three days per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Patient ratio of 1:4
  • Floating is required
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Telemetry monitoring equipment used

Requirements

  • Active OH or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
  • Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
  • Oncology experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with IV starts required
  • Telemetry monitoring experience required
  • 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are accepted
  • RTO must be submitted at the time of application and built into the contract; RTO is limited to 7 consecutive days or fewer for the duration of the contract
  • Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a 6-month separation period
  • All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly after booking; candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
  • Multiple parking permit options are available for purchase through CampusParc, ranging from budget surface lot access with shuttle service to 24/7 garage access
