Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Oncology Pod Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, Epic proficiency, and prior travel experience.
Details
- Oncology Pod Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment
- 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30), three days per week
- 13-week contract
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Floating is required
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Telemetry monitoring equipment used
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency with IV starts required
- Telemetry monitoring experience required
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no coworker references accepted
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted
- RTO must be submitted at the time of application and built into the contract; RTO is limited to 7 consecutive days or fewer for the duration of the contract
- Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a 6-month separation period
- All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly after booking; candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
