**Exciting Opportunity for ER Registered Nurses!** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** ER (780) - **Location:** San Antonio, TX - **Shift Details:** - Evening Shift: 7P-7:30A - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Guaranteed Hours: 36 - **Assignment Length:** 6 weeks - **Floating Policy:** - Travelers are required to float as needed. Please be aware of the Methodist Floating Policy during the interview. - **Documentation System:** Meditech **Minimum Qualifications:** - Must have at least **2+ years of ER experience** - **Certifications Required:** - PALS or ENPC - ACLS - BLS - TNCC - NIHSS **Preferred Skills:** - CEN Certification - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Meditech experience preferred **Specialty/Unit Certification Required:** - ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE (TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Conscious Sedation - Participate in Intubations - Behavioral Health Watch - Sepsis Management - Stroke (Tpa administration) - Chest pain (Heart Alerts) **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** - RN: Navy (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only) - **Nail Policy:** - No acrylic nails, no longer than ¼ inch, clean, no chipped nail polish - **Hair:** - Off shoulders, natural color - **Tattoos:** - Body art should be covered when possible.
