Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week mid-shift assignment requiring TNCC, ENPC/PALS, and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Level ER unit with 41 beds and approximately 90 staff members
• Mid-shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient ratios of 1:4 in core ER and 1:6 in fast track
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Specialized equipment training provided during orientation

Requirements

• Active Texas or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
• Current certifications required: ACLS/ALS, BCLS/BLS, ENPC or PALS, and TNCC
• CPI certification required within 6 weeks of onboarding
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes (no crocs with holes)
