**Exciting Opportunity for ER Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Contract-ER RN - **Shift:** 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM - **Duration:** 13 Weeks - **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 8 - **Number of Staff:** 15 - **Staffing Breakdown:** - Day Shift: 2 RNs (1 Charge), 1 RN at 9 AM, 1 RN at 11 AM - Night Shift: 2 RNs (1 Charge) - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 - **Required Skills:** - Minimum 2 years of ER experience - Strong team-oriented attitude - High accountability and integrity - Compassionate approach to patient care - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with Meditech - Familiarity with Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSED) - **Typical Procedures:** - IV administration - Bloodwork - Foley catheter insertion - Breathing treatments - Medication administration - **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - **Floating Area(s):** - None, but hours available at nearby Methodist/FSED locations within 25 miles - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Navy Blue - **Weekend Requirement:** - Rotating weekends (4 out of 8) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
