**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - **Unit:** Emergency Department - **Location:** Thornton, CO - **Number of Beds:** 40 - **Staff Composition:** Approximately 65 (RNs, Paramedics, and EMTs) - **Shift Details:** - **Day Shift:** - 1 CNC, 6 RNs, and an EMT - Multiple mid-shift staff throughout the day - **Night Shift:** - 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 EMT, and 1 Medic - Mid-shifters leaving at varied times throughout the night - **Patient Ratios:** - 4:1 - **Equipment Utilized:** - IV Pumps - EV 1000 - EKG machines - U/S machines - GE - **EMR System:** - Meditech - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Must-Have Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year of current acute care ED RN experience - BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certification - **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in Trauma Level 1 or Level 2 - Prior Meditech experience - **Typical Procedures:** - Rapid assessment, stabilization, and intervention - Vitals and ECG monitoring - **Personality Fit:** - Experienced ER nurse - Team player - Motivated and ambitious - **Why Choose Us:** - Cutting-edge equipment and technology - Experienced staff with diverse expertise - Flexible scheduling options **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
