Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting with a patient ratio of 4:1 (unless assigned to fast track or triage)
• Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients across a 24-bed unit plus 4 hall beds
• Perform and support ultrasound-guided IV placement as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system
• Adhere to department protocols including standard emergency nursing practices

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the State of Texas
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 3+ years of emergency nursing experience
• Proficiency with MEDHOST EMR
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement
• Familiarity with high-volume emergency department environments
• Experience with triage and fast track workflows
