Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama with no disciplinary issues
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or ER nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Room patients using the nursing process
• Assess patient conditions, identify priorities, and implement safe care plans
• Monitor and respond quickly to changing patient needs in a dynamic Emergency Department environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on team skill mix and patient needs
• Maintain clinical competencies and follow facility policies, procedures, and Alabama nursing standards
• Use sound judgment and leadership to support safe, efficient patient flow
