Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• CPI certification
• Chest pain and stroke certification
• Strong sepsis and stroke skillset
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment
• Experience with electronic charting systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent needs in the emergency room
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and rapid stabilization as needed
• Support care for a broad range of emergency conditions, including stroke, sepsis, chest pain, and behavioral health presentations
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and unit staff to promote efficient patient flow and quality patient care
• Document care accurately in Meditech and maintain strong attention to detail
• Contribute to a safe, compassionate, and team-oriented emergency department environment
• Adapt to occasional floating to a related psych pod or nearby emergency area as needed
