Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in a 495-bed hospital's Emergency Room
• Mid-shift schedule of 3p-3a on a 3x12 rotation
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
• No floating required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active VA RN license or Compact required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (AHA only)
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• US SSN required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Deliver emergency nursing care across a range of patient presentations
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this travel assignment
