Key Responsibilities

Perform triage and comprehensive patient assessments in a 32-bed Emergency Department
Administer and monitor conscious sedation procedures
Assist with splinting and other standard emergency procedures
Maintain patient ratios based on acuity assignments (1:4 standard; 1:6 in Vertical Care space)
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, EMTs, and paramedics across shifts
Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department RN experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current PALS certification
TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Meditech EMR system
Familiarity with equipment including Zoll Lifepaks, GE monitors, Stryker stretchers, and Mobilab
Flexible, professional demeanor with a strong team-player attitude
