Key Responsibilities

Perform triage and comprehensive patient assessments in a 32-bed Emergency Department setting
Administer and monitor conscious sedation procedures in accordance with unit protocols
Provide care across varying patient ratios based on acuity, including standard assignments (1:4) and vertical care spaces (1:6)
Perform splinting and other typical emergency department procedures
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, EMTs, and medics across shifts
Document patient care accurately using the unit's electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department RN experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current PALS certification
Current TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Meditech electronic medical records system
Familiarity with equipment such as Zoll Lifepaks, GE monitors, Stryker stretchers, and Mobilab
Flexible, professional demeanor with a strong team-player attitude
