Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Care for patients with routine and complex emergency conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses.
• Assess patient and family education needs and provide appropriate instruction.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, medications, and outcomes accurately.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations while maintaining patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC Certification
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
