**Join Our Dynamic Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - **Shift:** Nights 8P-8A - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes, 6 days per 6 weeks schedule period **Are you a compassionate and skilled Nurse ready to make an impact?** Join a team that values your expertise and commitment to patient care! As a competent Nurse, you will: - Practice independently in a dynamic clinical setting - Provide both routine and complex care, focusing on long-term goals - Develop your nursing skills to manage the complexities of clinical nursing - Make thoughtful assignments and delegate tasks to enhance team performance **Responsibilities:** - Meet the expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders - Deliver nursing care adhering to the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice by using the nursing process: - Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families - Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols; monitor side-effects and treatment effectiveness - Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided - Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and resources **Job Requirements:** **Education/Skills** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred **Experience** - 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications** - Current BLS certification (AHA only) - Current ACLS certification (AHA only) - Current PALS certification (AHA only) - Current TNCC certification - RN License in the state of TX or compact **Position Requirements:** **Education/Skills** - Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire - New hires will be precepted by a designated trained staff member - Complete organizational entry competency validation and Emergency Department-specific competency validation - Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or specific orientation - Achieve skills completion and competency validation with the preceptor at the bedside - Complete all annual competency verification requirements **Experience** - One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred **Work Schedule:** - 3 Days - 12 Hours **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
