Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Lake Havasu City, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and TNCC certification.
Details
- Work in a 24-bed Emergency Department at a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
- Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
- Mixed medical patient population including geriatric, adult, and some pediatric patients with varying acuity
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Equipment includes ultrasound, Belmont Transfuser, Baxter IV pumps, Glidescope, BD IV products, and GE monitors in every room
- EMR: MedHost EDIS
- 3x12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM (evening/overnight)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius of the facility
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Current AHA certifications: BLS and TNCC required
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Trauma and STEMI experience required
- Associate's degree (AA) in Nursing required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
Additional Information
- Candidate must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Black scrubs required
- Lake Havasu City offers outdoor recreation including fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking, along with local dining options and scenic mountain and lake views
- Conveniently located within driving distance of Las Vegas (2.5 hrs), Phoenix (3.25 hrs), Grand Canyon National Park (3.5 hrs), and Los Angeles/San Diego (5 hrs)
