**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!** - **Unit Information: Emergency Department / (780)** - **Location: Lone Tree, CO** - **Number of Beds:** 27 - **Approximate Number of Staff:** 60 (with staffing adjustments throughout the day based on volume) - **Core Staffing:** - 4 RNs (or 3 RNs and a medic) - 1 EMT - 1 Secretary or another EMT - **Max Staffing Levels:** - 7 RNs and 1 medic (or 6 RNs and 2 medics) - 3 EMTs - 1 Secretary - **Patient Ratios:** 4:1 with a charge nurse who typically does not have a patient assignment ensuring critical patient coverage. - **Type of Equipment:** State-of-the-art tools for a Level II trauma ED, certified chest pain center, and thrombectomy capable stroke center. - **EMR:** Meditech (DOS platform) **Hiring Profile:** - **Required Skill Set:** - Minimum 1-year current acute care ED hospital experience - BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications - **Preferred Skills:** - CEN and/or Meditech experience - Experience in a high-volume ED Unit **Procedures Performed:** - Comprehensive services provided by a Level II trauma ED - Psych/at-risk patient care with a focus on safety monitoring - Procedural sedation (Propofol, Etomidate, and Ketamine) **Ideal Candidate Traits:** - Proactive and engaged mindset toward patient care - Excellent communication skills for patient and family support - Strong customer service focus to enhance patient experience **Why Choose Our Unit:** - We're proud of our commitment to reducing opioid use by 34% through innovative, alternative pain management therapies, which our community appreciates. - Our night shift team is exceptionally stable, supported by consistent charge nurse leadership. - ED leadership is actively involved, providing hands-on patient care, education, and training, ensuring high-quality patient experiences. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
