**Exciting Opportunity: Travel RN - Emergency Department** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 24 - Number of Staff: 45 - Patient Ratios: 4:1 (5:1 during surge) - **Shift Details:** - Schedule: 12P - 12A - **Team Composition:** - Day Shift: 4 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 2 Mid-Shift RNs, 1 Mid-Shift Unit Clerk, 1 EMT - Night Shift: 4 RNs, 1 Night EMT, 1 Night Charge Nurse - **Equipment Utilized:** - GE Monitors - EMR: Meditech - **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Port access/ IV start/ Venipuncture - Nasal wash/ Point of care testing (troponin/ lactic acid/ urine dip) - EKG/ Foley placement - **Required Qualifications:** - Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC certifications - Minimum 1-year of current acute care ED experience - **Preferred Skills:** - CEN Certification - CPEN or US IV competency - Pediatric Emergency Department experience for pediatric cases - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Caring and competent with a passion for patient care - Excellent communication skills with a willingness to go above and beyond - **Why Choose Us:** - Be part of a dedicated team utilizing the latest technology and equipment - Work with experienced staff committed to excellence in patient care - Enjoy flexible schedule options to suit your lifestyle **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
