Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a freestanding ED requiring 2 years of ER experience and TNCC certification.

Details

  • Work in a freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) setting
  • 13-week travel assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required for ER placement
  • Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required for ER units
  • Current NIH Stroke Certification required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
  • One professional reference required

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency care to patients presenting to a freestanding ED
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
