Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Ability to care for adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Strong teamwork, professionalism, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with diagnoses such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related concerns, and hypertension
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, timely treatment decisions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and follow established emergency department workflows
• Respond effectively to changes in patient acuity and prioritize care in a busy ED setting
• Contribute to a supportive, team-focused culture while delivering compassionate patient care
