Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Every other weekend required
  • Call requirements apply
  • Floating as needed
  • Documentation system is Meditech

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required (temporary license will not be accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Meditech experience preferred
  • No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Royal blue scrubs required for RNs
  • Nails must be clean and healthy with no artificial enhancements
  • Hair must be neat, clean, and free of extreme styles or colors; facial hair must be neatly trimmed; long hair must be pulled back when required
  • Body art should be covered whenever possible
  • Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
